Our center has built its reputation through the continued dedication to providing quality skilled nursing care to patients since 1982.

Osage Beach Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center is a licensed 120-bed center, certified for both Medicare and Medicaid. We work with many private insurances, VA, and private pay patients. We offer quality health care services to individuals requiring various levels of care, including skilled nursing, skilled therapy, intermediate care, respite care, day care, and outpatient therapy.

Our recently remodeled rooms offer fully electric beds and a call light at each bedside. Each patient has a night table, bed side table, closet and drawers to accommodate for one's belongings. Families are encouraged to bring items, such as pictures or a favorite chair, to personalize each room. A flat screen television is provided and cable is offered free of charge. Telephone services are available for an additional charge and our staff will gladly assist with the arrangements. A beautifully landscaped courtyard area is accessible to our patients and visitors. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, home-like atmosphere for our patients, while providing quality care.

We offer a variety of skilled nursing care, including but not limited to - wound care, pressure ulcer treatment, IV therapy, pain management, and palliative care. Our nursing staff, which consists of Certified Nurses Aides (CNA), Certified Medication Technicians (CMT), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Registered Nurses (RN), frequently undergo ongoing education and in-services to better care for our patients. Our nursing department administers compassionate care in every aspect of patient needs, while upholding privacy and dignity.

Osage Beach Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center offers physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Upon admission, each patient is screened by our therapy team and a plan is implemented to help achieve the highest level of function possible. Whether a patient is long or short-term, or receiving care as an outpatient, the goal is to maximize one's independence in the safest manner conducive to their environment. Families are encouraged to work with our therapy team in a combined effort to reach the goals and expectations of our patients. The center also provides restorative therapy, which helps maintain one's current level of function. The restorative aide, with the recommendations of our therapy team, works with patients through various programs, such as walk to dine, exercise and group activities.

Social Services works closely with patients and families to ensure satisfaction throughout one's stay. Social Services will guide patients and families though the admission process. During one's stay, they act as the in-house "ombudsman" to ensure that one's needs are met. When appropriate, Social Services will design a discharge plan, setting up support services in the home prior to discharge.

The Business Office maintains a secure Patient Funds account, in which a patient can safely keep their money. Our bookkeepers gladly offer their assistance with any billing or insurance question.

Our dining room provides a bright, pleasant atmosphere for an enjoyable dining experience. The Dietary Department works closely with patients and families to accommodate for each patient's preferences while maintaining their dietary precautions. A selective menu is offered at every meal to allow patients to make their own choices. Snacks are also provided throughout the day for the convenience of our patients. Staff will provide assistance for patients who require additional supervision and support during meals. We encourage our patients to eat in the dining room to enhance socialization and interaction with others. Family members are welcome to dine with patients.

Our healthcare cener offers recreation programs seven days per week. We offer a variety of activities geared toward the popular interests of our patients. Individualized programs which focus on one's specific hobbies and interests to emphasize the best quality of life can be provided for our patients. We encourage participation in activities to keep patients physically and mentally engaged while building relationships with other patients in a fun, exciting atmosphere.

The Housekeeping/Laundry Department constantly strives to keep our center clean and pleasant. Daily checks are conducted throughout the entire center to ensure a pristine and safe environment. Laundry services are available on-site, and bed linen care is provided by the facility.

Our Maintenance Department works diligently to keep our center operating at the highest level. In conjunction with the housekeeping department, they also work to ensure the comfort and safety of our patients.

Health Information Management maintains one's medical record. The Health Information Director oversees that essential information has been received or is sent to other health care centers to ensure continuity of care.
